Celeste suddenly awoke, and she prayed she wasn't about to be ill again. It was then that she realized that It was nearly midnight and the sky was so beautiful. Celeste wanted to paint it to make the view a permanent vision for many to be able to enjoy. The sky was a black to navy gradient and it provided a exquisitely beautiful backdrop to the full moon. Thousands of stars of lay scattered along the heavens. Like Ethereal lanterns in the night sky some burning brighter and bigger, while others small and like a flicker in the night. The night sky was the clearest it had ever been, and Celeste could almost see every crater.

The Moon could easily be described as A Celestial Pearl on a blackened velvet cloak. Celeste had been in pain for several days now and had sought isolation within the walls of her gilded prison, which was her bedroom. However, after days of pain and isolation, the view of the nights sky seemed to strangely invigorate her. The moon seemed to beckon her, like a lighthouse guiding sailor's home. Pushing back her blankets, she fought to sit up in her bed, then on shaky legs she walked over to the window. Taking a deep breath, she reached out to the window and slowly slid it open. Celeste sighed in relief as the crips air entered her room and surrounded her, like a big hug, The crisp nights air seemed to put out the raging fire that seemed, to be burning beneath her skin. Tomorrow was Celeste's eighteenth birthday and looking at the moon, she feverishly prayed that this year be different. That she would not be left the packs weakest link, The Runt. Yes, she was admired by all who knew her, she lived in a gilded prison.

It was believed, since she was young that her wolf had perished away after barely being able to save her life. Celeste had been raised as a human among the pack, being allowed to stay since she was an Alphas daughter. But Celeste had found that there were too many rules and too many safety procedures that it left her very little freedom. Celeste never had the usual childhood and teen years growing up and she found it unbearable to cope. She thought of asking her parents to let her move to a human civilization if she was still unable to shift. She sought for a place that would make her feel whole, a place that it felt like she belonged. She prayed again for a change.

It was then that rendering pains started to shoot throughout her body. Raising her hand. she gasped as she could see and feel the bones of her hands and fingers mobbing under her skin. Her fingernails began to bend and split as claws emerged in their place. Screams continued to escape her lips as her arms and legs snapped one after another, sending her crashing to the floor. It was the most painful and clearest sensation she had ever felt. Her legs and arms popped, shifted and transformed into her new form.

Another scream erupted as her shoulders cracked and bended. The bones breaking and moving on their own will. As her shoulders crawled and snapped into their rightful place, it let out a nasty crunching sound. Immediately after that Celeste felt her ribcage being split in the middle. At this point she couldn't scream, as the wind was knocked out of her. Next was the feeling of her spine breaking and reshaping itself. Laying in pain she could feel her muscles growing and conforming to protect her bones.

Screaming, Celeste wished that she hadn't had been so stubborn. She wished that the sounds of her screams, would wake and bring her family to her. Celeste longed for her family, to get her through her first shift. Something they never thought would ever happen. However, she knew that her screams never left the sanctuary that was her room. During recent renovations to the packhouse she had demanded that her room be soundproofed as well, due to her becoming of age to find her mate. Her parents wanted to refuse her, due to it being a safety concern. However, after long debate and days of begging, her family finally resigned themselves and allowed their daughter this one wish.

Then suddenly it felt as if millions of needles, were pierced simultaneously into her skin. That pain developed into a burning sensation as thick fur began to sprout across her body. After what seemed to be a lifetime that pain stopped, and Celeste lay panting on her bedroom floor. Next Celest felt a vice like pressure in her head and her ears began to ring. Her eyes watered and vision blurred to where her room became blinded over. A headache pounded between her ears, and it was unrelenting. Her nerves began screaming in her mouth as her werewolf teeth began to take shape as her skull felt like it was being torn open as it to begin to break and shift into her wolf form. In pain, she let out what she believed to be a loud scream. It however wasn't a scream, but a powerful howl, that carried itself across the nights sky. It all being so much, she quickly succumbed to the darkness.

Her powerful howl carried in the wind and to the campsite of the sleeping Royal group, that was currently travelling, to visit the pack. It brought the Lycans out of a deep slumber. Four of the Lycans immediately recognized the sound of the powerful howl, as that of their mate. To the fifth Lycan it was known that there was now another Lycan that had transformed. Also, by the sound of the howl, that it belonged to a powerful individual. The howl was a call from their mate. "Mate." The four Lycans growled. "Don't worry little mate, we are coming to you. We will be with you soon."

Sometime later Celeste could hear the sound of voices calling out to her. "Celeste, Celeste." The sound of their voices echoing throughout her mind. Slowly she began to enter a state of consciousness. She was what appeared to be in a field of wildflowers. There stood her human form and across from that was a strong, large White wolf with the same striking blue eyes she had, next to that was a being that she could only see the shadows of. The being partially hid in the shadows, it looked to be a beast a mix between human and wolf. However, this being was stronger and larger than any werewolf she had seen and brought the thought of Lycans to her mind. But there had not been a female Lycan known to have been born for Thousands of years. Next to that was the waterfall and lake where fog had gathered close all she could see was part of a tail as it swished through the water and the sounds of splashing waves.

"H, Hello." Celeste called to the beings in her subconscious state.

"I am Selene, your wolf and we are in your wolf form now in the world, so do not be afraid when you wake. I have always been with you and i am glad i was able to break free. Since you were a child, it felt as if i was imprisoned away from you." The white wolf said

"You're a white wolf." Celeste said as she stated the obvious, staring in shock at the wolf in front of her.

"NO child, we are a white wolf and among others. We are so glad to be able to communicate with you and hopefully in time you will come to know us all."

"We?" Celeste asked.

"Yes, we are powerful and no longer will we be kept in a gilded prison. All will be answered in time. But know this my name is Amaris. and you shall never be afraid of being alone because you never have been and never will be," A stronger more dominant voice said coming from the beast like form in the middle.

"I am Ariella. " Celeste could barely hear through the sounds of the crashing waves from the waterfall. Suddenly the voices stopped and receded into the back of her subconsciousness. With a groan, she became more conscious and involved in the living world.

Opening her eyes, she immediately closed them. All of her senses were strong and advanced. It was something that she would have never imagined. She could see even the slightest speck of dust. She could hear and track even the slightest of movement and it brought her attention to the baby spider that was in the far corning of the ceiling in her room. What hit the most at this moment was her sense of smell. The smells of the packhouse, quickly became overwhelming, so she went to cover her nose with her hand,

However instead of seeing hands, her eyes were met with Large white paws. Standing up in wolf form, she walked on newfound, shaky legs over to her full side mirror. The vision in front of her was truly shocking. Instead of long luscious black hair in cascading waves and striking blue eyes, she was met with the sight of a pure white wolf with those same striking blue eyes she has in her human form. Instead of a tall, Delicate frame with curves in the right places, she was a tall, strong wolf. what startled her the most was the wolfs sheer size. her sheer size was bigger than any Alpha she had ever seen. Shaking her snout, she turned away from the mirror.

Tentatively she crossed her room, careful to avoid the broken class, wrecked furniture and other damage that happened to her room during her recent transformation,

Deep claw marks had been dug into the floor from where she had been laying. Proof of the transformation she had survived and one of the things that helped her through. As dusk turned to dawn, Her senses keep increasing to where it hit its peak. Everything hurt, everything was too much.

Suddenly a flight and fight instinct took over and all she could think, and feel was to get away, so she made her way back across the room to the door. then turned and charged straight ahead, going straight towards the open window, instead of jumping and landing in a broken heap, she landed safely on her four legs. Instinctively she ran towards her safe haven. The one place she had discovered one time when she had ventured out, and travelled much further than her parents would like. It was a place that not many people, knew about.
