NINETEEN YEARS LATER
IN THE REDMAINE'S MANSION
"Audriene, what do you wanna do for your birthday" my mum asked. "Mum, can I just graduate first before talking about my birthday, I mean my birthday is still two months from now", I replied and my mum sighed. "Okay I have heard you, if that is what you want then no problem". She said
"Thank you mum" I said. "But you have to marry at the age of twenty" she completed her sentence. "Jeez mum, I'm barely 19 and you are already talking about marriage and you know how much I love Liam",I said and heard my mum scoff. "You better forget that boy because you are going to marry into the Winston family", she said and I flared up "mum how do you expect me to marry such an arrogant man, he is so full of himself and only thinks about himself. We are not even in love", I said angrily and my mum chuckled "dear is that what you are worried, don't worry, when you get married, you will learn to love him and get to know that he is such a nice young man too", she said and I stomped out of the sitting room angrily.
I went straight to my bedroom and started crying, I could not believe that my mum could do this to me. I don't wanna marry that Winston guy, I will marry Liam and Liam alone. I cried for so long that I did not know when I slept off.
In my dreams, I saw someone, he definitely doesn't look like a human,I wonder who he is but he seemed gentle although he has a very cold face and his eyes can freeze someone to death but I couldn't see the remaining part of his face because he was staying in a dark place which looks creepy.
The man started walking towards me and I started moving back instinctively until when I could no longer move and when he leaned his face closer, I closed my eyes because I was scared he would hurt me but he didn't instead, he tucked the strands of hair from my face behind my ear and whispered into my ear saying "you are mine and mine alone"and vanished.
I wondered how he did that but immediately he disappeared, I woke up instantly feeling scared, my heart was beating rapidly "what type of dream was that", I thought to myself. But it felt so real and what did he mean by "I belong to him", I thought but shrugged it off and changed my clothes, I'm going to see Kim, my best friend, I really need someone to talk to and she is the only real friend I have. I finished dressing and went to see her.
KIM'S HOUSE
"Do you mean it",Kim asked. "Yes, she said that I am getting married to that Winston guy", I said with soo much disgust while remembering his ugly attitude. Although we are not friends but we have met on a few occasions and it wasn't something to write home about.
"But girl why don't you like him?, I mean every girl is virtually dying to marry Arnold Winston", kim asked. "Well I'm not every girl and I'm not going to marry him because his character is ugly and I don't even like him one bit not to even talk of having feelings for him", I replied
"I know it is because of that Liam guy, that is why you don't want to marry Arnold, isn't it?", she asked and I shook my head "no its not because of Liam and don't bring him into this", I replied. "Okay fine, I've heard you. But you can still have a rethink", Kim said raising her two hands in surrender and I rolled my eyes. "There's nothing to think about. I'm not marrying him", I stood my ground and continued watching TV.
SOMEWHERE IN THE VAMPIRE KINGDOM
Zamiel could be spotted in the sitting room drinking wine and he looked like he was in a deep e until Caulder stepped in.
"Master, Miss Drielle is here to see you",caulder said. I wonder why she's here at this time, I only use her for pleasure and that's all but right now I don't want to see her.
I have far better things to do than making out with Drielle like preventing that arranged marriage between that dumb Winston guy and my mate Audriene. And I can't even take her away like that, it's even more dangerous for her to stay here, some people are after her life like Melaine.
I told caulder to tell Drielle that I'm busy but she proved stubborn and came to see me. When she came in I gave her a cold face "what are you doing here?"I asked and she came closer touching my face;"to satisfy you my Lord", she replied and I I told her to leave but she didn't so i yelled at her to leave and she became scared and ran away. I told caulder not to let anyone in till my next instruction.
