Hi y'all . Hope you enjoy ,it's my first novel .
I always knew he was a bad person , from the day my mother married him........he looked ......creepy. Mom died a sudden death , and that's when I knew that creepy was an understatement.
Well who am I talking about ? Alpha Zero......they say . Sometimes I wonder why we have to title him "Alpha". Maybe that's his name..........or........it's every males name , looking back I recall my father being called Alpha ,but sadly he died.My brother Jorden was 2 when mum died . Dad....... never knew he existed ,for he was long gone by then.
I heard a clicking sound taking me out of my thoughts. My heart started pounding , 'his back.' was the only thing I could think of.
"Lucy!" He yelled my name with so much anger.
That's the greeting I get everyday . He always seems to be angry, the guy never smiles...jeez.
"Lucy!!" He sounded angrier . "Alpha" I answered . Hiding Jorden in the closet and rushing out of my room .
With no shoes on and the only cloth that fits me ,I ran down the stairs as fast as I could . I knew what was coming, but I couldn't keep the so called "Alpha"waiting .
I reached the foot of the stairs and the first thing I heard was a growl. " I think somebody's good sugar is low " I thought . What human ever growls , that loud too. Almost forgot his no human. I bet his standing like we about to wrestle for a football...... correct term 'wrestle me' . One lesson I learnt so hard never look the Alpha in the eye.
Taking me out of my thoughts he asked
"Kindly tell me what going on , in that little head of yours?"
M...mi...mine?" I stuttered out. 'Why is he asking me that? .......or did he read my mind ?' I thought . Fear started sweeping into me . When did he start reading minds? Gosh , i'm doomed.
" Why?.....Lucy's afraid now?" He asked tilting his head like a confused puppy with an evil smirk plastered on his face.
"M...me ...a.... afraid? No" i defended Shaking my head .
In just a swift of a second I was plastered onto the wall, with his hand on my neck choking me.
"So now I am lying!" He shouted ending with a loud growl . Tears started streaming out as I sucked for air. I shook my head trying to pull his hand away but he only tightened his hold.
"Your mom never taught you respect and now she's gone! Who's going to care of you useless rats?..huh!" He ended with a deadly deep voice. I started sobbing , I wanted to say something but nothing came out , so I shook my head .
"Me!?" He asked, more like replied himself .
My vision was occupied with black dots, I couldn't take it any more. I shook my head weakly turning to the right , the last thing I saw was a small figure running done the stair"Jo....dan. n-o" I whispered out , before I died.
