The morning was surprisingly beautiful and the birds made their pleasant music while the green grasses sweived their bodies to the rythm of the breeze.
In a blink of an eye, three months have passed and a young girl layed on her bed lost in her own dreams without moving a single muscle.
All of a sudden, an old woman all dressed in black walked into the room and dropped a bunch of beautiful flowers on the round table looking down at the young girl, a sly gasp escaped her lips as the young girl jerked and she slowly unveiled her eyes and blinked her long thick eyes lashes fluttering like the wings of a butterfly but then her eyes, as blue as the sea was so calm and beautiful and yet filled with so much mystery.
All a sudden the sky took an unusual shade as the wind blew ferociously sending chills down the spines of the birds hovering on the trees, the atmosphere became grim as the birds stopped their pleasant music and flew away but that happened In a minute and in the next minute all became normal as if nothing strange had happened as the young girl finally moved her fingers.
"Sum...summer?"
The old woman shuttered as she stared at the young girl with surprise and happiness clearly written on her face.
"Ma'am Katherine?"
The young girl called as the old woman suddenly hugged her tightly surprising her, she had not expected this.
"You are finally awake summer, oh summer,"
the old woman said admist tears surprising the young girl the more.
"Why are you crying ma'am Katherine? I mean you have always seen me wake up every morning so why all this tears?"
The young girl asked wiping the tears which trickled down the old woman face with her fingers.
"And where's dad, I feel like I haven't seen him in ages"
The young girl uttered as she looked around, her eyes scanning around the room for something or someone.
"You...you don't remember anything?"
The old woman asked, it was her turn to be surprised.
"Remember what ma'am Katherine?"
The young girl asked clearly looking confused.
"Your dad, he...he died three months ago and you have been in coma since then, today is your dad funeral summer"
The old woman said calmly allowing the words sink into the girl head's.
Summer stood rooted to the floor as the old woman words sunked deep into her head and like magic nightmares, her dream over the past three months, painful memories starting flooding into her and her knees finally made way as she fell on the floor with shock boldly written all over her face.
"Dad...dad's gone?"
FLASHBACK
.
.
.
THREE MONTHS AGO
The rains fell heavily from the sky with heavy droplets, lightening strucked, thunder roared and the wind blew ferociously as a teen girl came into view.
She was holding tightly to her bag which hunged loosely around her shoulder as she cursed inwardly at her driver for being late to pick her from school.
She finally let out a long sigh when she saw a black SUV car driving into the school compound and her driver hurriedly came down from the car holding an umbrella in his hands.
"Am so sorry for coming late miss summer."
He apologized and bowed slightly showing sign of respect and apology for the teen girl.
"It's okay Mr Will's, let's just be on our way."
The teen girl replied, hopping into the back seat of the car followed by the driver who sat at the driver seat and soon enough they were hitting the busy road.
Summer POV
I felt a wave of uneasiness wash through me as we got closer to the house, my heart was beating faster and something was definitely off with the air, the bright weather had suddenly turned sour.
As we got closer, strangely my ears caught some strange noises.
"Stop!"
I ordered and the driver halted the car looking at me with questions in his eyes.
"It's okay Mr Will's, I just want to grab something from a nearby supermarket"
I lied, smiling at the man who was clearly not convinced.
"And you can go home, I will be back shortly,"
I said firmly.
"But miss"
He tried to protest
"No buts Mr Will's, I will be back shortly, trust me on this one"
I said and smile as I watch the man hesitantly enter the car and finally drove off.
I sighed and started following the strange noise walking through a small narrow road and it finally led me to the woods.
"The woods? how the hell did I get here?"
I asked myself as I started heading back home from the same route I came from, regretting why I'd even followed the strange noises in the first place.
I heard some strange movements heading my direction and I quickly hid behind a big tree.
Four images came into view they were all dressed in black hoodies which covered half their faces and they were talking in low tones, I couldn't decipher what they were talking about but I was sure one of the man voice sounded familiar.
All a sudden they started having arguments and the argument finally turned into a fight.
The men hoodies came off and i widened my eyes in shock.
There in the mist of those men stood my dad.
"Dad? What the hell was he doing here?"
I asked no one in particular as I stared closely at the strange people.
Something else caught my attention as i stared at my dad face, i noticed his canines transforming into long fangs from my dad's mouth, claws replaced his fingers and his eyes took a shade of yellow.
"What the heck?"
The other men also did the same as a serious fight broke out in the woods, they were fighting like animals instead of humans.
In what seems like second i saw one of the men dug his claws into my dad chest as he removed dad heart and threw it on the ground before kicking my dad away.
I could see the pain and anguish in my dad's eyes as he dropped on the ground with a loud thud.
Seconds passed as I laid there unmoving, my hands shivered, my legs twitched as if rooted to the floor, tears rolled down my cheeks as I came to a realization.
There laying a few metres away from me laid dad, whose eyes were closed as he drowned in his pool of blood, a deep hole in his heart while he laid unwavering.
"Dad...please wake up, dad. Dad, please wake up"
I squealed and then shook dad severally but he was long gone, there was no coming back for him anymore, I growl and cried in silence, everything happened too fast and that was all I could remember before I blacked out.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Dad...dad's gone,"
Summer muttered as tears rolled down her cheeks
"I'm so sorry dear summer, I'm so sorry"
Ma'am Katherine consoled, hugging the devastated young girl in her arms.

.
Summered staggered into the bathroom as the nightmares kept flooding in, she held the sink and the image of her dad came in view, suddenly she felt her blood boiling from anger,"I was fucking there yet i didn't do anything, I will make a deep hole in the heart of those ruthless men who did the same to my dad."
she swore to herself and in a blink of an eye her eyes took a shade of red and her hands emitted fire as the sink in her hands broke into two.
"What the hell?"
DEEP INTO THE WOODS
An image could be seen in a black cave all dressed in a black gown as his eyes glowed brightly and his lips slowly moved to speak
"She's has awakened."
