The Alpha's Weakest Mate
Author's pov
“Elena!”
The sharp voice echoed through the house.
Elena froze in the kitchen, a tray of breakfast trembling in her hands.
“I’m coming, Mother.”
She hurried into the dining room.
Her father, mother, and older brother were already seated.
Her father barely glanced at her.
“You're late again.”
“I’m sorry. I was preparing breakfast.”
“Always excuses.”
Elena lowered her eyes.
She had learned not to argue.
Her name was Elena Vale, the youngest daughter of the Beta of the Moonridge community.
Her father was respected by everyone.
Her older brother, Lucas, was one of the strongest young wolves in the community.
And then there was Elena.
The weak one.
The embarrassment.
At twenty-one, she still couldn't shift properly.
She couldn't fight.
She couldn't run as fast as the others.
Even worse, her wolf had remained unusually silent for as long as she could remember.
Her father had tried everything.
Training.
Herbs.
Healers.
Nothing worked.
Lucas suddenly laughed.
“Look at her hands. She's shaking again.”
Elena looked down.
They were.
Her mother sighed.
“Honestly, I don't understand how someone from our family could be this weak.”
Elena swallowed the lump in her throat.
“I'll get stronger.”
Lucas scoffed.
“You've been saying that since you were twelve.”
Her father slammed his hand against the table.
“Enough.”
Everyone fell silent.
He stared at Elena.
“Tonight, the council will make a decision about you.”
Elena's heart dropped.
“What decision?”
Her father didn't answer immediately.
Then he said coldly,
“Whether you are still worthy of remaining in this community.”
Elena's eyes widened.
“Father…”
“You heard me.”
---
That evening, the entire Moonridge community gathered beneath the full moon.
Elena stood alone at the back.
Her father stood beside the council elders.
Lucas stood with the other young warriors.
Nobody stood beside her.
The Elder stepped forward.
“After careful consideration, the council has decided that Elena Vale is no longer fit to remain in Moonridge.”
A wave of whispers moved through the crowd.
Elena's heart shattered.
“Please…”
She stepped forward.
“I can improve. Just give me more time.”
Her father looked away.
“You have been given enough time.”
Her mother remained silent.
Lucas smiled.
The Elder raised his hand.
“From this night onward, Elena Vale is banished from Moonridge.”
Tears filled Elena's eyes.
She looked around one last time.
Not one person defended her.
Not even her family.
She wiped her tears.
Then she turned around and walked away.
She had no idea where she would go.
She only knew one thing.
She was finally alone.

Meanwhile…
Far away from Moonridge stood the Blackwood territory.
It was the strongest werewolf territory in the world.
And inside its enormous castle, preparations were underway for an event that had become legendary.
The Mate Ceremony.
Every year, Alpha Adrian Blackwood held the ceremony.
Every year, unmated wolves from different territories traveled hundreds of miles hoping to be chosen.
And every year...
Adrian found no one.
For six years, he had searched for his fated mate.
Six years of disappointment.
Six years of ceremonies.
Six years of his wolf refusing to accept anyone else.
Adrian stood before the enormous windows of the great hall.
His Beta, Damon, approached him.
“Alpha, everyone has arrived.”
Adrian's expression remained cold.
“Good.”
Damon hesitated.
“This is the sixth ceremony.”
Adrian's eyes narrowed.
“I know.”
“What if she isn't coming?”
Silence.
Then Adrian's wolf growled inside him.
She is alive.
Adrian's jaw tightened.
“I will find her.”
Damon lowered his head.
“Yes, Alpha.”
The great doors opened.
Hundreds of wolves immediately bowed as Adrian entered.
The ceremony had begun.
But none of them knew that somewhere beyond their territory...
A girl who had just been rejected by everyone she loved was walking toward the one place she was never supposed to enter.
And neither Adrian nor Elena knew it yet.
But the Moon Goddess had finally brought them together.
His mate was coming.
And she was the weakest wolf everyone had ever known.
