"Sineia, are you sure that you're going to stay here?" Mrs. Changco asked while looking at me, concerned. I, on the other hand, continued to wash the dishes.

There are more things to do here, so why leave?

I've been working in this cofffee shop for months now since I couldn't find another job but this one. Who would accept me as their employee when I couldn't remember some of my informations needed on a resume, by the way?

This sucks. I mean, I suck. I just couldn't accept that all I remember is my name which is Sineia, and that's it. I couldn't even have a glimpse of my past for no reason. All I remember was I woke up lying on a hospital bed, 2 years ago. And I guess, that how my life begun.

I plastered a smile on my lips even though I can sense that my body is on the verge of tiredness. Well, overtime means 'plus salary' so it will still benefits me.

"Yes, boss. I will just wash the dishes . . . clean the floor and that's it!" I noticed how she smiled with my statement.

"But it's almost midnight and I know you! You will just walk your way to your apartment, and I am worried!" I almost laughed because of her reaction. I mean, her eyes were like shouting at me, too!

I closed my eyes for a minute because my gut feeling tells me that something bad is going to happen. It's the usual full mooon vibe effect on me. I don't know but since last last year, I noticed this strange occurrence or happening to me whenever it's the full moon-- and it was all bad.

Last last year during full moon, I got fired from my first job for no reason and I hated my first boss for that. I mean, who would fire a very responsible employee for no reason? Just by thinking about it wants me to roll my eyes. Another bad happening last last year during full moon was really unacceptable. My favorite plant on my small garden died. I even cried for its loss. There are many bad occurrence during full moon and I think, I experienced all of those since last last year. I hope, nothing would go against me tonight-- since the full moon is in the night sky.

I grabbed my cellphone out of my pocket and showed it to Mrs. Changco. Well, these days, my cellphone is my protection, specially that I am just walking my way home every night from work.

I have a recording on my cellphone that sounded like a police officer calling me and reaching out to help me. I also have all the possible numbers and hotlines of those emergency responders. To add some, I have a specialized spray that would make someone' dizzy and a ballpen that could stab someone to death.

It may all sound 'creepy' but what am I going to do? I need all of those because I am all alone in my apartment. I've always been a fan of 'Prevention is better than cure.'

Her eyes widen, probably not expecting to see these cool things. Who would have thought I got these, by the way? Some would see me as a pure and innocent waitress. I want to laugh.

"I am protected, boss." I act like a famous celebrity with her bodyguards ready to save her. How I wish. She laughed so hard because of my actions.

"I am protected, well-respected . . ." I even sing the lyrics of a familiar song.

She handed me my cellphone and my bag but I asked her to place it on the table beside her. She was still giggling and I can even hear her! Still great because at least, I made someone smile for today.

I'm sure, I looked cute with my acting awhile ago.

"Okay, sure, 'you are protected'. But you ain't protected like those famous people, plus your acting skills sucks," she was very straight to the point that I made a face. Oh, come on!

I'm enjoying my work here, I can just treat my boss like a friend.

"Wow, thank you for your compliment-- you can leave now," I said and turned my back on her so I could continue what I was doing-- the dishes. I know I sounded like a disrespectful human being but she will eventually take my actions a joke.

"Sure, be careful and stay safe, Sin. It's full moon."

That was her last word before leaving. Silence invade the entire coffee shop and the only thing that I hear is my own breathing. I continued to wash the dishes. I played a complete random songs from my cellphone so I wouldn't be scared of the tranquility of the place. Some people are afraid of silence, fortunately, I'm not.

Few minutes, the dishes are done. I walked in the employee's room to get the mop. This coffee shop isn't too big and isn't too small. I couldn't find the exact word to describe it. It has a very comforting vibe with nature, from the wallpaper unto its floor designs. Well, Mrs. Changco loves plants so do I.

The wallpaper are pictures of big plants in a minimal way. The furnitures are all wooden, there are three different kind of plants placed on every table. Those plants are instagram-able and it eventually suits the vibe with their coffees when taking a picture. We also have our lights customized into a minimal way. The cashier and order area also have the forest vibe and it's the main attraction of the place. Of course, it should be!

As soon as I finished cleaning the floor, I immediately got my things and the key. It was already 12:30. My eyes are sleepy but my body isn't.

The cold air of night welcomed me as soon as I started to walk home. The coldness was like a refreshment to me.

I stopped walking only to look up and see the bright stars and the moon that is shining in the darkness. True to Mrs. Changco's words, it's full moon. The moon is really attractive and awesome. How could it shine like that and be seen all over the universe?

I want to be a moon, too. I want to shine on my own, too, because being alone means being in the darkness.

I continued to walk and even stretched my arms while walking, it felt great like an exercise.

While walking, I noticed that it was more colder. Fortunately, I'm wearing a cardigan and pants.

I stopped again, not to look up but to observe something-- someone. I didn't notice that someone was actually standing near.

Someone is also on the road in the middle of the night. I know for sure that he's a man because of the built and because of his hoodie.

He was standing, back rested on the tree. I couldn't see his face and I don't know what to do, should I continue walking?

My heart beats fast, I sense danger. I was about to get my spray and ballpen out of my bag but he glanced at me. For a moment, when he looked straight to my eyes, I felt the vibrating effect on me. It felt like my long lost friend just found me.

What's with me?

I  gasped when the man who was standing earlier was now laying on the road and I don't know what to freaking do! Everything happened so fast, we were having an eye-contact just few seconds ago and now here he is, laying!

I should have listened to Mrs. Changco earlier if this is the case now.

Should I run or should I help him? But, what if he's some sort of perverted guy in the middle of the night trying to trap me like a prey and is pretending to get my attention?

Whatever it is, I chose the latter.
