“Leave him to me.” I said, grabbing one of the iron chains that hung from the walls of the chamber, and let the devil down. “As long as he´ll be in my protection, I want you all to keep the fuck away from him, got it?” They sank their hooded heads obediently and walked out quietly. Words make their rounds quickly when you beheaded someone just last week for not obeying your masters orders. I then turned back to the man’s face, now looking at me with amber eyes full of fear and respect. “Who sent you, my little demon?” Startled by my words, he backed away, as I slowly put my fingers on the chain around his hands. I then grabbed the key out of my pocket, unlocking his arms, legs, and the iron leash around his neck, which already left a very delicious, bloody mark on his pretty, pale skin. I heard his heart race a thousand times faster.
Due to my vampire senses, it’s easier to make people fear you. Especially when you get hungry and your senses are all over the place. “Look, little red devil,” I began slowly, flicking my tongue, then grinning at him maliciously. “Bare me a few drops of your blood, and you’ll be in my protection, as long as you’re not infected by the monsters.” He began thinking about it. “Okay…but I want to be able to walk without chains.” “That can be arranged. Well, I’m quite hungry, after hurrying here to save your luscious blood.” Slowly, he moved so I can get a better sight of his neck. But I have other plans for this pretty boy. So I took one of the chains and threw it over his scarred shoulders, making him go on his knees. The heavy iron immediately put lovely flesh marks on him. His blood smelled outwardly good. Without hesitation, I bared my fangs deep into his neck.

My purpose here is clear, my target as near as possible, but somehow I can’t deny but feel the protection, spelled upon me. As if he’s trying to warn others in this damned place that I´m his food. He also keeps feeding off of me lately, which drained a lot of energy. So he forced me to dine with him later tonight, and even though he’s tossing me around like a smelly canal rat, I play along in this game. His mansion is just as gruesome as I imagined. Animal heads hanging on the walls, next to monsters and famous human celebrities of the old world. But his newest addition must be one of the new monsters, as it still reeks of rotten flesh. Its big claws reach its woolen legs. I walk past it, not looking at the walls and ignoring the passing hooded guards, looking at me with disgust. I can’t blame them at some point. I didn’t choose to be here too. But they seem to respect their master a lot, so I´ll try and keep my mouth shut, if necessary. The dining hall isn’t far away, as I already heard a deep, husky voice say " Keep their head. I want their arms and its liver.” Dear God, if you wouldn’t have left us all, this world wouldn’t have to keep up with this creature.
Quietly, I slip through the half-open door and try not to look into the eyes of my opposites, sitting not far away on the large table, filled with lots of expensive delicacies. I fall into a cozy, deep red chair. This guy seriously has a problem with his obsessions for red-colored objects. I took a plate full of meat with cooked vegetables and started shoving it all into my mouth. After all, I should enjoy my stay here as long as I´m alive. The stranger asked the vampire something in a language, which I couldn’t understand. “I and the devil get along fine.” I looked up for the first time and stared at a grinning man with his hands folded in front of him. He’s way too amused about it. “How is the meal?” he asked, still grinning. In a blink of a second, he stood right next to my stool. He grabbed my fork and stabbed the stranger’s eye, who lets out a shrieking scream. I watched in horror, as he pulled it out of his eye socket, eye on my fork, and then ate it as if it would be the most delicious meal he ever had. “Don’t think I can’t read your ugly mind, Hesoo. After all those years, you still haven’t learned a thing.” Hesoo touched his eye socket, while slowly reaching for his pocket. My eyes are glued on a silver cross set with small, blue diamonds. An ice cross. Made for killing vampires with fire skills. “Oh, dear. What do you want to do with that ugly-looking thing?” Out of instinct I stood up, took the knife, and went for the back of the man. To my surprise, he sensed me coming from behind him and crouched down, all in the blink of an eye, I lied on the ground, screaming to a burning ache, and slowly felt my vision got blurry. I’m not a vampire, but just the slightest touch of an ice cross can eliminate a target in minutes. I heard someone say my name like a sweet prayer.
Slowly and with tears, I opened my eyes to see the vampire being covered in blood, from his mouth to his arms. I looked to my left and saw Hesoo, thorax open, organs out, blood flooding out like a red waterfall. My eyes went back to the man’s face, now very close to me. He looked at me with red, catlike eyes and I could swear I saw a glimpse of worry on his face. Maybe I’m just hallucinating or about to leave this world. It seems as if this Hesoo guy wasn’t useless to him as he keeps cursing under his breath while trying to slowly rip apart clothes around my torso, where the cross hit a few times. Looking down at a puddle of blood, I felt my eyes tear up again. The vampire bared his fangs into my skin, but I wasn’t feeling like I was going to die. I felt satisfaction, pleasure, lust, creep up, and impulsively grab the vampire’s hair. He jerked away and looked me in the eyes again. Then everything went back to this beautiful, peaceful darkness, that I’ve grown fond of.
