Lina walked into the five-star hotel with the room key card in her hand, her body trembling involuntarily.
Her father's voice echoed in her ear, indifferent, "Think about your mother and brother who are still hospitalized. If you want them to live healthily, go and serve Johnny for me. If Johnny's happy, the medical expenses are on me. Otherwise, get out of our house!"
Her stepmother Melanie pleaded, "Lina, please consider your father's situation. If you don't go, your father's company will collapse!"
"Why didn't you send your daughter then?" Lina asked back.
Rhode smacked her in the face, burning with pain.
Melanie stopped him from striking again. "Let's discuss this later. You go see Johnny with your injuries, what if people don't like you?"
Lina covered her face. "I will go, but don't forget to give the money to the hospital, or we will go down together."
After her saying that, she took the room key card and turned to leave.
Inside the luxurious hotel, Lina found her room, but the door wasn't working. She walked in carefully, the room was dark, and her heart raced with fear.
"Is anyone there?"
All that responded was the man's heavy breath.
Lina pressed against the wall and slowly walked towards the sound. Suddenly, a big hand pulled her into his arms.
A faint fragrance burrowed into Lina's nose. "I-"
"Who sent you here?" the man asked harshly.
"I came here myself. I admire you and like you. I just hope you will give me a chance," Lina answered, trembling with fear.
"Dammit! That scent!" the man muttered something Lina didn't catch and pushed her away. "Get out!"
Lina hit the wall. Pain jolted through her.
Summoning up the courage to confront the man, Lina slowly unbuttoned her clothes, throwing each of them on the floor one by one.
The moonlight outlined the young girl's smooth skin, making it more alluring. The sweet fragrance filled the room, making the man's Adam's apple roll.
Driven by the drug, Lina picked up the man in the middle of his bed. She threw herself onto him, looking like a white lamb waiting to be possessed.
This sight piqued the man's interest, but he couldn't forget why Lina was there in the first place. He couldn't help but increase his strength.
"It hurts!" Lina cried out.
The man paid no attention to her and kept ravaging her. Lina clenched her lips tightly.
He subconsciously leaned down and kissed her lips.
"Open your mouth," he commanded.
Lina hesitated but obeyed. The man's tongue licked every inch of her mouth as if wanting to devour her.
She felt the wetness between her legs and felt ashamed.
The man's roughness hiked, leaving countless marks on Lina's body.
After the endless sex, pain consumed Lina's entire body.
She heard the water flow in the bathroom and thought about her sister. Hurriedly, Lina put on her clothes, grabbed the money the man had thrown on the bed, and rushed out.
She ran into the hospital, seeing the nurse holding a white sheet and covering her mother's body.
Lina's body trembled. "Mom!"
But the cold body didn't answer her.
"Miss Lina, please don't be sad. You still have Dill. You have to be strong!" the nurse said sympathetically.
As soon as Dean's surgery fee was paid, Lina's phone rang. It was her father Rhode.
Lina answered, "I did everything you asked me to do. When will you give me the money as promised?"
"Money, you still want money? You damned little spendthrift! Your shameless mother and younger brother can go to hell!" Rhode yelled.
Lina's head buzzed. The man she slept with was not Johnny, so who was he? Was she in the wrong room?
Thanks to the man's money, her younger brother might survive.
"Dad really sent the medical expenses?" Dill asked.
Lina's hand peeled the apple, trembling. Pinching the fruit knife's handle, she peeled the last apple skin and handed the apple to Dill.
"Of course, he loves you," Lina lied.
"When will he come visit me...?" Dill said, gazing out of the window.
"You know he's remarried, and he's got a new family to consider now," Lina fibbed.
She couldn't bear to tell Dill the truth about how his biological father planned against them with his new wife.
Lina left home and eventually Rhoda called her again. She met with him at a café, confronting him about wanting her to marry Angus Brian, who had an erectile dysfunction after an accident.
"I'm not as naive as Dill," Lina sneered. "You need Brian Family's assistance, so I'll agree to marry him, but on one condition - that the shares I cheated from my mother go back to Dill."
Rhoda's eyes widened in anger, but he relented, "Fine, I'll return the shares to him after you become Mrs. Brian."
The next week, Rhoda picked up Lina, taking her to Angus's mansion.
Lina was determined to use her identity as Mrs. Brian to take revenge on Rhoda for all he had done.
Opening her eyes with resolve, Lina's eyes had already turned cold.
